She is avidly involved with hospice families and volunteers, she teaches swimming for infants and preschoolers, and she is a Certified Doula (birthing coach). Sue has arranged her personal and professional lives so that she interacts and has connections with people throughout their lives. From birth to death, and the various stages of living. Sue's goal is to continue practicing what she preaches by lightening up and living longer. Sue is avidly involved with hospice families and volunteers and possesses a strong grasp of the skills necessary to interact with people at all stages of living and dying. One of Sue's other passions is teaching swimming to infants through preschoolers. She has been doing this continually since she was 18 years old, and continues certification with the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor (W.S.I.). Of course her three grandchildren continue to be just a few of her star pupils.
Nick, Anna, and Ellie Sue are Sue's treasured grandchildren.
